What is it like at our church?

You may be new to the area or may have lived here for some time, please come and join us at any of our services. We are a friendly congregation and enjoy welcoming new members.

What should I wear?

Whatever you normally wear on a Sunday. We don't have a dress code!

What do we do?

Our services are straightforward and easy to follow. Prayers, music and an emphasis on the word of God. Our congregation is actively involved and takes part in leading our worship. Members of the congregation prepare and present the prayers on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.

On the second Sunday of the month, we have a more traditional service where we follow the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) for 'Evening Prayer' or 'Evensong' service at 6:00pm. Finally, the BCP guides a spoken Communion service at 8:00am on the fourth Sunday.

What happens?

Our family services are informal and led by members of the church - the pattern is Christian family worship focused around an activity, quiz or game. Family communion on the third Sunday of the month is a more traditional service with hymns and a talk based on an aspect of our Christian life and the world today. At the same time, school age children have activities of their own at our Sunday school.

Services on the second and third Sundays are led by the choir which welcomes new members. See the choir page for details.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
